• Utah State returns to the East Coast this week for a pair of games against American Conference opponents, beginning on Thursday, Dec. 4, when the Aggies take on South Florida in Tampa at 5 p.m. (MT).
• USU is off to a 7-0 start for the 10th time in program history, and the third time in the past four years. The Aggies are now in search of an 8-0 start, which would be the fifth time in program history.
• The Aggies debuted at No. 22 in the first NET rankings of the season, released on Dec. 1. Utah State is the highest-ranked Mountain West team in the net, and the second-highest ranked mid-major team in the poll, only behind Gonzaga (5).
• Senior guard MJ Collins Jr. scored 40 points in the Charleston Classic championship game vs Davidson on Nov. 23, a new tournament scoring record. He became the first Aggie to score 40-plus points in a game since Jaycee Carroll in 2007, and just the 11th USU player to ever reach that mark.
• Graduate guard Drake Allen currently ranks in the top-5 nationally in both assists and steals, with 7.5 helpers (5th) and 3.50 takeaways (3rd) per game.
• Senior forward Garry Clark is averaging just shy of a double-double this season, with 11.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per contest.
• As a team, Utah State currently ranks third in the NCAA in steals, averaging 11.9 per contest. The duo of Drake Allen and Mason Falslev each rank among the nation's leaders in takeaways — Allen ranking third in the country with 3.50 steals per contest, Falslev ranking 15th with 2.71.
• Utah State currently ranks in the top 50 in the nation in several major statistical categories, including winning percentage (1st - 1.000), steals (3rd - 11.9), field goal percentage (7th - .531), assists (16th - 20.0), scoring margin (19th - +21.6), 3-point field goal percentage (22nd - .395), fastbreak points (23rd - 18.43), turnovers forced (32nd - 16.14), scoring offense (39th - 88.9), and assist/turnover ratio (43rd - 1.61).
