• Utah State resumes its season and wraps up the 2025 calendar year on Tuesday, Dec. 30, with a Mountain West contest at Fresno State.
• The Aggies enter the contest 10-1. This is tied for the best 11-game start in program history, and is 12th time in program history USU has opened a year 10-1 or better. It's also the fourth-straight 10-1 or better start for the team.
• Utah State made a statement in its Mountain West opener, annihilating Colorado State 100-58 on Dec. 20. This was the third-largest margin of victory in a MW game in program history, and was CSU's worst loss since 2010.
• Utah State currently ranks No. 18 in the NET Rankings. The Aggies are the highest-ranked MW squad and are one of eight teams from the league in the top-100. USU is also receiving votes in both the AP Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll.
• Senior guard MJ Collins Jr. ranks 30th in the nation this season with 20.1 points per game, as he's scored 20-plus points in six of 11 games this year. He also ranks ninth nationally in 3-point percentage at 50.0 percent.
• As a team, Utah State currently ranks eighth in the NCAA in steals, averaging 10.7 per contest. The duo of Mason Falslev and Drake Allen each rank among the nation's leaders in takeaways — Falslev ranking 11th in the country with 2.73 steals per contest, Allen ranking 24th with 2.40.
• Utah State currently ranks in the top 75 in the nation in several major statistical categories, including steals (8th - 10.7), field goal percentage (11th - .521), turnovers forced (15th - 16.45), scoring margin (20th - +19.2), turnover margin (22nd - +4.4), 3-point field goal percentage (22nd - .386), assists (23rd - 18.9), winning percentage (27th - .909), fastbreak points (32nd - 16.91), scoring defense (51st - 66.7), scoring offense (53rd - 85.9), assist/turnover ratio (54th - 1.56), rebound margin (60th - +6.6), 3-point field goal percentage defense (65th - .406), and bench points (71st - 30.27).
• Saturday's game will be the 75th all-time matchup between Utah State and Fresno State, the ninth-most played rivalry in USU program history. The Aggies lead the all-time series 48-26, including a 16-17 record on the road. USU has won 13 of the past 14 matchups.
