TUCSON, Arizona - Utah State men's tennis fell to No. 10 Arizona, 7-0, on Friday at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center.
  
Doubles
The Wildcats took the doubles point with wins at the second and third courts. At the top spot in the lineup, senior David Martirosian and freshman Eliot Nobel battled to a 6-5 deficit before the point was clinched and the match was suspended.
 
Singles
Facing a lineup that featured three players in the top 100 of the latest ITA singles rankings, the Aggies battled tough but could not claw a point away from Arizona. At the first position, senior Sergi Micó Fenollar won the second set, 6-4, against Colton Smith, ranked No. 3 in the nation by the ITA. Sophomore Mohammad Alkotop also claimed his second set at the third position, 6-3, before falling in a third-set super tiebreak. At the fifth position, freshman Dmitri Goubin forced a second-set tiebreak against Oskar Jansson, ranked 83rd in the latest ITA rankings, but fell in a tight battle for the tiebreaker.
