• Utah State is playing in its 25th NCAA Tournament all-time, including for the third straight year and fifth time in the past seven years. (USU also qualified for the 2020 NCAA Tournament prior to it being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.) Since the turn of the century, USU has played in 13 NCAA Tournaments.
• As the 10-seed in the Midwest Region, Utah State will face 7-seed UCLA in Lexington, Kentucky, at Rupp Arena. The winner of that game will move on to face the winner of 2-seed Tennessee and 15-seed Wofford in the round of 32 on Saturday, March 22.
• Overall, USU is 13-34 in the postseason (7-25 in NCAA, 2-10 in NIT, 4-1 in CIT). Last season, Utah State earned its first NCAA Tournament win since 2001, defeating TCU in the opening round 88-72. The Aggies then fell to eventual national runner-up Purdue in the second round.
• Utah State is just the second team in NCAA history to reach three-straight NCAA Tournaments with three different non-interim head coaches, having gone in 2023 with Ryan Odom, in 2024 with Danny Sprinkle and this year with
Jerrod Calhoun.
• USU graduate guard
Ian Martinez was named to the All-Mountain West First Team, while sophomore guard
Mason Falslev earned a spot on the league's second team as well as on the Mountain West All-Defensive Team.

• Falslev ranks first in the Mountain West and 13th in the nation with 2.33 steals per game.
• Martinez ranks in the top 10 in the Mountain West in scoring average, free throw percentage, free throws made and 3-point field goals made. He also holds the second-longest streak of double-digit scoring games in the nation at 36.
• Utah State has been a 10-seed in the NCAA Tournament three times previously (1983, 1988, 2023).
• USU and UCLA have met up 10 times in program history, including three times in the NCAA Tournament. UCLA leads the overall all-time series 7-3.
