LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach Wesley Brooks announced on Tuesday the team's nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Aggies will play four games within the confines of the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, in addition to one exhibition contest, in preparation for Mountain West play.
"We are very excited about our nonconference schedule," Brooks said. "It should challenge us but also prepare us for conference. We're very excited to be playing three NCAA Tournament teams from last season. We get to host Utah at the Spectrum which will be a great home opener. Then, we have the privilege of going on the road and playing at Oregon and Oregon State, two perennial powers with a lot of good talent and players. We're excited about going on a two-game swing to Los Angeles in December. That type of swing prepares you for the NCAA Tournament with the quick turnaround. As we try to build a championship team and we have a championship approach, we think this schedule prepares us not only for the Mountain West but for postseason play."
USU will begin the season with an exhibition contest against San Francisco State on Thursday, Oct. 30th, at the Spectrum. The Aggies will then open the season proper by hosting in-state foe Utah on Friday, Nov. 7. Utah last played at the Spectrum in 2017. The Utes will be one of three teams on USU's schedule who played in the NCAA Tournament last season.
Utah State will head to the road for the first time to take on CSU Bakersfield on Tuesday, Nov. 11, before returning home to face Omaha on Saturday, Nov. 15.
The Aggies then face a stiff road test against Oregon State on Tuesday, Nov. 18, before welcoming Division-II Stanislaus State to the Spectrum on Thursday, Nov. 20. USU will then return to the Beaver State to take on its third and final tournament team of the nonconference campaign against Oregon on Sunday, Nov. 23.
USU's roadtrip will extend to three games, its longest of the season, with a pair of games in Southern California. The Aggies will first face LMU on Friday, Dec. 5, before a final road contest against San Diego on Sunday, Dec. 7.
Utah State's nonconference schedule will conclude at the Spectrum on Saturday, Dec. 13, against Idaho.
