• Utah State is 0-1 all-time against Texas A&M, losing in College Station 38-30 in 2009. USU is 2-25 all-time against current members of the SEC as it posted a 35-6 win at Kentucky in 1970 and was awarded a 2-0 forfeit win against Oklahoma in 1972.
• Utah State is 1-0 to start a season for the fourth time in the last five years following its 36-14 home win against UTEP. The last time USU started the season with consecutive wins was in 2021.
