Box Score BOISE, Idaho - Utah State men's tennis kicked off its fall tournament season this weekend at the Boise State Invite. The Aggies scored a combined eight wins across singles and doubles play during the weekend.
Sophomore transfer
Brody Nejedly-Krall led the way with three singles and two doubles wins. Playing alongside sophomore
Eemil Pasanen, the duo earned a 6-3 and a 7-6 (3) win over opponents from Idaho State and Portland, respectively. In singles action, Nejedly-Krall defeated Portland's Eli Noel, 6-4, 6-3, and Idaho State's Tyler Dalos, 6-1, 6-4. He closed the weekend with a three-set win over ISU's Rafael Maya, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-4).
Elsewhere in singles action, sophomore transfer
Xavier Calvelo earned a 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4) victory over Idaho's Miolaj Lis, while
Eemil Pasanen won in straight sets against Idaho State's Hayden Ciguenza, 6-3, 7-6(4). Freshman
Emmanuel Alex earned his first-ever win as an Aggie, defeating Idaho State's Quentin Lamothe, 6-3, 7-6(6).
