LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men's basketball announced a non-finalized version of its 2025-26 Mountain West schedule on Wednesday. Game dates are subject to shift after Mountain West television partners make their broadcast selections. Game times will be set once broadcast selections are made.
All Mountain West teams will play a 20-game slate this season. With the addition of Grand Canyon to the league, each team will play 10 of the 11 teams in the conference at home, and 10 of the 11 teams on the road. Utah State will not host Air Force and will not travel to San José State.
Utah State officially opens conference play with a single pre-Christmas league matchup when the Aggies host Colorado State at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum on Saturday, Dec. 20. Following the Christmas break, the team will travel to take on Fresno State on Tuesday, Dec. 30.
USU will open the 2026 calendar year at home when it hosts San José State on Saturday, Jan. 3, before playing back-to-back games on the road at Air Force on Tuesday, Jan. 6, and at Boise State on Saturday, Jan. 10. This is one of three back-to-back road stretches on the team's calendar during league play.
Utah State is slated to take on Nevada at the Spectrum on Tuesday, Jan. 13. The team then travels to Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, Jan. 17, for its first matchup against Grand Canyon in program history. USU will return home to host UNLV on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
The Aggies will travel to face Colorado State on Saturday, Jan. 24, before closing the month of January with a two-game homestand against Wyoming and San Diego State on Tuesday, Jan. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 31, respectively. The back-to-back games at home will be followed by back-to-back games on the road, when USU travels to take on New Mexico on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and Wyoming on Saturday, Feb. 7.
USU will face Fresno State at the Spectrum on Tuesday, February 10, before its lone bye week of conference play that weekend. During the break from conference play, the Aggies will play a previously announced non-conference game at home against Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 14. Following the bye, the Aggies host Boise State on Tuesday, February 17, before hitting the road for two more games as they travel to Nevada on Saturday, Feb. 21, and San Diego State on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Utah State is back at home on Saturday, Feb. 28, when it plays Grand Canyon, before its final road trip of the regular season when the Aggies travel to Las Vegas to take on UNLV on Tuesday, March 3. The regular season concludes on Saturday, March 7, with a home matchup against New Mexico.
The 2025-26 Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, from March 11-14. The championship game will be played on Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m. (MT).
