LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis is ready to continue on the road, splitting between in the Bedford Cup in the Mountains, hosted by Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Sherwood Collegiate Cup, hosted by California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Both tournaments will take place Friday, Sept. 26, through Sunday, Sept. 28.

Utah State men's tennis wrapped up play at the Idaho State Invite, highlighted by quarterfinal singles runs from junior Keanu Rigby and sophomore Dmitri Goubin. Rigby battled through two three-set victories, defeating Idaho State's Sam Wensley (6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-3) and Tyler Dalos (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) before falling to ISU's Lewie Bouman in the quarterfinals. Goubin advanced with a straight-sets win over Montana State's Andre Stewart (6-3, 6-2).Other singles highlights included freshman Emmanuel Alex collecting multiple wins, including a 6-1, 7-5 victory over ISU's Rafael Maya and a 6-4, 6-4 win against ISU's Quentin LaMothe in extra matches. Sophomore Jakub Medved also added a victory in extra play, edging Dalos in a match tiebreak (2-6, 7-5, 1-0 (12-10).
