• Utah State men's basketball continues Mountain West play as it travels to Fort Collins, Colorado, to take on Colorado State on Friday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m.
• The Aggies enter the contest 15-3 overall and 6-2 in league play, currently sitting second in the Mountain West standings.
• Utah State currently ranks No. 26 in the NET Rankings, and is No. 32 in KenPom. The Aggies are the highest-ranked team from the MW in the NET Rankings, and are one of eight squads from the league ranked in the top 100.
• The Aggies rank No. 9 in the nation in field goal percentage at .513.
• Individually, senior guard MJ Collins Jr. leads the MW in field goal percentage (.534) and ranks 24th in the country in 3-point percentage (.429). He also leads the league in scoring average at 19.3 points per game, scoring 20-plus points nine times this year.
• Junior guard Mason Falslev ranks 21st in the nation in steals per game with 2.39. He is one of just six players in the country averaging at least 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals per game.
• Utah State currently ranks in th e top 75 in the nation in several major statistical categories, including field goal percentage (9th - .513), steals (14th - 9.7), scoring margin (19th - +16.1), assists (22nd - 17.9), turnover margin (22nd - +3.8), winning percentage (23rd - .833), fastbreak points (27th - 15.72), turnovers forced (28th - 15.06), assist/turnover ratio (30th - 1.59), 3-point percentage (37th - .371), scoring offense (46th - 84.8), field goal percentage defense (54th - .410), scoring defense (59th - 68.7), bench points (63rd - 29.22) and rebounding margin (64th - +5.1).
• Friday's game will be the 111th all-time meeting between Utah State and Colorado State, the fourth most-played rivalry in program history. The Aggies lead the all-time series 64-46, including wins in 11 of the past 18 meetings.
• Earlier this season, the Aggies defeated Colorado State 100-58 in Logan on Dec. 20. This was the largest margin of victory by either side in the history of the 110-game series.
