• Utah State men's basketball continues Mountain West play as it returns to Dee Glen Smith Spectrum for two games this week, beginning against Wyoming on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m.
• The Aggies enter the contest 16-3 overall and 7-2 in league play, currently sitting second in the Mountain West standings one game back of San Diego State.
• Utah State currently ranks No. 26 in the NET Rankings, and is No. 32 in KenPom. The Aggies are the highest-ranked team from the MW in the NET Rankings, and are one of seven squads from the league ranked in the top 100.
• USU has received votes or been ranked in 10 of the 12 AP Polls, and in 10 of 13 Coaches Polls this season. This week, the team received two votes in each poll.
• The Aggies rank No. 9 in the nation in field goal percentage at .512.
• Individually, senior guard MJ Collins Jr. leads the league in scoring average at 19.3 points per game, scoring 20-plus points 10 times this year. He ranks second in the MW in field goal percentage (.530) and ranks 28th in the country in 3-point percentage (.424).
• Junior guard Mason Falslev ranks 19th in the nation in steals per game with 2.42. As a team, the Aggies rank 11th in steals per game with 9.7.
• Utah State currently ranks in th e top 75 in the nation in several major statistical categories, including field goal percentage (9th - .512), steals (11th - 9.7), turnover margin (16th - +4.2), turnovers forced (19th - 15.37), winning percentage (23rd - .842), fastbreak points (24th - 15.79), scoring margin (25th - +15.4), assists (26th - 17.7), assist/turnover ratio (35th - 1.59), 3-point percentage (49th - .366), scoring defense (51st - 68.3), scoring offense (53rd - 83.7), bench points (60th - 29.00) and field goal percentage defense (61st - .414).
• Wednesday's game will be the 92nd all-time meeting between Utah State and Wyoming, the seventh most-played rivalry in program history. The Cowboys lead the all-time series 52-39, though USU has won six-straight and 12 of the past 14 meetings. In Logan, USU is 25-18 all-time against Wyoming.
