RUNNING IT BACK
This is the Aggies' second trip to Indiana State this season after the men's squad achieved a 13th-place result at the John McNichols Invitational last month. A 33rd-place individual result from junior Garrett Woodhouse elevated the team past four of the 14 ranked opponents in the field. The women's team will get its first look at the Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, which will host the NCAA Championships in November.

LAST RACE
The Aggies earned their second sweep of the season at the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational, securing team wins behind freshman Stockton Stevens in the men's 7k, and senior Sarah Ellis in the women's 5k. The men's squad ran in a pack to lock out the top four places behind a personal best from Stevens, while Ellis surged ahead of the field, winning by over 40 seconds in her first race of the season.

CAN'T SLOW DOWN
In five race weekends, Utah State has had success across the board, combining for five team victories between its two squads. Each team also contributed a perfect 15-point day, logging the top six point scorers in the men's 8k at the Bengal Invitational, and in the women's 5k at the Utah State Alumni Challenge. Six different Aggies have contributed individual titles across three race distances this season, with four earning their maiden race win.

IN THE POLLS
The Aggie men are receiving votes in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll after a three-week stint in the top 30. They remain sixth in the Mountain Regional standings, while the women's team is eighth in the leaderboards. The Mountain Region remains one of the country's most competitive, featuring three teams in the men's top five, and four teams in the women's top ten.

STACKING WINS
Utah State has had a strong start to the 2026 season, capturing three individual titles and a pair of team wins in a single weekend. Both squads won the home-hosted Utah State Alumni Challenge, led by seniors Natalie Swain and Jedidiah Megargel in their respective races. That same weekend, senior Joshua McKeestood stood atop the podium at the Mike Baumer XC Classic, winning the 5k.
