LOGAN, Utah – The 2026 Utah State football schedule was unveiled Wednesday evening as the Pac-12 Conference announced the full slate of games for the upcoming season over a 13-week regular season slate.

The new eight-team league will officially kick off its 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 5, with Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Texas State and Utah State joining Oregon State and Washington State.

Utah State will play six home games on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium with three non-conference matchups and three Pac-12 games. One of those three non-conference contests will be a flex game against a Pac-12 opponent to conclude the regular season, which will be considered a non-conference matchup for standings.

Utah State's 2026 Pac-12 schedule will include home games against Washington State (Oct. 10), Colorado State (Oct. 31) and Fresno State (Nov. 7), and road games against Boise State (Oct. 3), Texas State (Oct. 24), San Diego State (Nov. 14) and Oregon State (Nov. 21).

Utah State's home game against Washington State could be moved to Friday, Oct. 9, when broadcast selections are determined.

The projected matchup for Utah State's flex game (Nov. 28) as of right now is Boise State, but that opponent will not be confirmed until six days prior at the latest. The Pac-12 will retain the right to adjust its flex matchups based on the best interests of the league, including College Football Playoff (CFP) considerations at the time.

Utah State opens the 2026 season with four non-conference games as it hosts Idaho State (Sept. 5) and Troy (Sept. 26) and plays at Big Ten opponent Washington (Sept. 12), and at Big 12 opponent and in-state rival Utah (Sept. 19).

Utah State will have its only bye during the season on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Utah State will have consecutive home games once during the year as it hosts Colorado State (Oct. 31) and Fresno State (Nov. 7). The Aggies will play back-to-back road games twice during the season, at Washington (Sept. 12) and at Utah (Sept. 19) during non-conference play, and again during Pac-12 play at San Diego State (Nov. 14) and at Oregon State (Nov. 21).

The Pac-12 Championship game will be hosted at the home venue of the highest seed on Friday, Dec. 4. The game will be featured on CBS and Paramount+ as part of the conference's new media partnership with CBS Sports, USA Sports and CW Sports. Following its seven-game slate of conference-play, where each team will face every other team once, the Pac-12's title matchup will be determined upon the conclusion of Week 12 (Nov. 21), two weeks ahead of the championship game.
