• Utah State men's basketball plays part two of a three-game homestand, its longest of the season, on Saturday, Feb. 14, with a nonconference matchup against Memphis at 6 p.m., at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
• The Aggies sit atop the Mountain West standings, currently at 12-2 in league play.
• Utah State currently ranks No. 23 in the NET Rankings, and is No. 25 in KenPom. The Aggies are the highest-ranked team from the MW in the NET Rankings, and are one of eight squads from the league ranked in the top 100.
• USU has received votes or been ranked in 11 of the 13 AP Polls, and in 11 of 14 USA Today Coaches Polls this season. This week, the team received 15 votes in the AP Poll and eight votes in the coaches poll.
• The Aggies are currently on a six-game winning streak. Following the game against Memphis, USU will wrap conference play with games against teams currently ranked two through seven in the Mountain West standings.
• Utah State has won 20-plus games for the 35th time in program history. The team has now hit that mark in four-straight and seven of the past eight seasons.
• Freshman forward Adlan Elamin earned MW Freshman of the Week honors after recording his first-career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds against New Mexico.
• Junior forward Karson Templin is playing his best basketball of the season, scoring in double-digits in six of the past eight games and averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds during that span. He matched his scoring career high of 18 against San Diego State.
• Junior guard Mason Falslev ranks 25th in the nation in steals per game with 2.17. As a team, the Aggies rank 22nd in steals per game with 9.1.
• Saturday's game will be the first-ever meeting between Utah State and Memphis. All-time, USU is 27-11 against current American Conference opponents, including a 2-1 record this year with wins over Tulane (96-75) and Charlotte (79-53) and a loss to South Florida (74-61).
