LOS ANGELES, California - Utah State men's tennis fell in a neutral match against UC Davis, 4-3, on Saturday the LMU Tennis Center.
 
Doubles 
USU fell behind early after UC Davis took the doubles point with 6-2 and 6-3 wins at the first and second positions of the doubles lineup, respectively. At the third spot, senior Jean-Baptiste Badon and sophomore Eemil Pasanen led, 4-3, at the time the match was abandoned.

Singles 
Heading to singles action, the Aggies racked up wins in three of the first four matches to take a 3-2 lead in the match. Sophomore Roman Venger led the way with a 6-2, 7-5 win at the fourth position while freshman Jakub Medved followed close behind with a 6-4, 6-4 win at the fifth position. After UC Davis knotted the score at 2-2 with a win at No. 6 singles, sophomore Xavier Calvelo put Utah State back in front with a 6-2, 7-6 victory at the second position. Each of the two remaining matches went a full three sets where UC Davis would claim a pair of victories to take the overall match, 4-3.
