LOGAN, Utah – Utah State Vice President and Director of Athletics Cameron Walker announced Wednesday that the Aggie football team will host Toledo on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium on Sept. 18, 2027.

This will be just the second meeting in series history as Utah State posted a 41-15 win against Toledo in the 2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. USU is 9-4 all-time against current members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The last time USU played a team from the MAC was when it faced Kent State in the 2019 Tropical Smoothie Frisco Bowl in Frisco, Texas. USU's last regular season game against a MAC opponent was when it hosted Northern Illinois in 1995.
