LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head football coach Bronco Mendenhall announced the remainder of his second signing class on Wednesday, as part of the NCAA National Signing Day. The class, which includes 36 total players, is comprised of 32 four-year transfers and four high school athletes.
Twenty-nine of the 36 signees are enrolled at Utah State for the spring 2026 semester.
Overall, four of Utah State's signees have been rated as a four-star recruit at some point during their careers, while 20 signees have been rated as a three-star recruit.
The states of Utah and Texas produced the most signees with six each, followed by five players from North Carolina, three players from Nevada, two players from Alabama, California and Florida, and one player each from Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and American Samoa.
Twenty of Mendenhall's signees are defensive players with six linemen, five outside linebackers, four safeties, three cornerbacks and two inside linebackers. Of the 15 offensive players that signed, five are linemen, five are wide receivers, two are fullbacks, and two are quarterbacks, to go along with one running back. USU also signed one kicker.
Mendenhall announced 17 high school signees in December. Ten of those signees are offensive players with four linemen, two quarterbacks, two tight ends, one wide receiver and one running back. Of the seven defensive players that signed, four are linebackers, two are defensive backs and one is a lineman.
