Men's Basketball 3/10/2026 3:00:00 PM

• The Mountain West Tournament will take place from March 11-14 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. The championship game is set for Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m. (MT). The quarterfinals and semifinals will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with the title game on CBS.

• As the 1-seed, Utah State earned an automatic first round bye and trip to the quarterfinal round, where it will face the winner of 8-seed UNLV and 9-seed Wyoming. Should Utah State win, it will move on to face the winner of 4-seed Grand Canyon and 5-seed Nevada/12-seed Air Force in the semifinals.

• This is the 13th and final Mountain West Tournament for Utah State, since joining the league in 2013-14. The Aggies have won the tournament twice, in 2019 and 2020, and have made it to the championship game four times total, all in the past seven years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2023). In the MW Tournament, USU is 18-10. All-time in all conference tournaments, the Aggies are 56-37.

• The Aggies won the outright Mountain West regular season title with a 15-5 record in league play. This is the team's third MW regular season title, and 19th league title overall.

• Utah State was well represented in the MW postseason awards. Jerrod Calhoun was named the league's coach of the year, Mason Falslev earned player of the year recognition, along with a spot on the first team and all-defensive team, and Karson Templin was named the sixth man of the year. Additionally, MJ Collins Jr. was named to the all-MW second team while Drake Allen earned honorable mention recognition.

• With its win over New Mexico on March 7, the Aggies secured their fourth-straight 25-win season. Overall, this is the 14th 25-win season for the team, and first time reaching that mark in four-straight years.

• Utah State enters the week at No. 29 in the NET Rankings. The Aggies are the highest-ranked team from the MW in the NET Rankings, and are one of eight squads from the league ranked in the top 100.

• MJ Collins Jr. and Mason Falslev have been two of the top scorers in the Mountain West, each ranking in the top 10 in both scoring and shooting percentage. USU is the only team in the MW with two players averaging at least 15 points per game.
