Utah State Football Starts Spring Practice on Tuesday, March 17

LOGAN, Utah – Under the direction of second year head coach Bronco Mendenhall, Utah State football will begin spring practice on Tuesday, March 17. All practices will be closed.

During the five-week spring calendar, the Aggies will participate in 15 practice sessions, which will conclude with its Spring Showcase on Saturday, April 18, at noon, giving fans an opportunity to watch the team and interact with the players.

Inside The Roster
Utah State returns nine starters (O-4, D-5) as part of 24 returning letter winners (O-8, D-14, S-2) from last year's team that went 6-7 overall and finished in seventh place in the Mountain West with a 4-4 league record. The Aggies concluded its season by playing in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, which was its 12th bowl game in the last 15 years and its 18th all-time.

Utah State also welcomes back 14 redshirts (O-8, D-4, S-2) and 11 more players (O-4, D-7) that were members of the program in 2025.

Highlighting Utah State's returners in 2026 are two players that garnered All-Mountain West recognition last year in senior S Brevin Hamblin and senior ILB Bronson Oleavo Jr., as both players earned honorable mention All-MW.

Other starters returning for Utah State in 2026 include senior RB Javen Jacobs, senior OL George Maile, senior DT Tyree Morris, senior OL Tavo Motu'apuaka, junior OL Jimmy Liston, sophomore OLB Chris Joe and sophomore DT Carson Tujague.

Utah State returns seven more players who have made starts with the Aggies in senior S Bobby Arnold (6), junior WR Anthony Garcia (4), junior CB D'Angelo Mayes (4), sophomore RB Noah White (2), junior ILB Mataira Brown (1), junior OL K'leyone Iosua (1), and junior TE Kache Kaio (1).

Newcomers
Utah State welcomes 39 newcomers to the program, which includes 27 four-year transfers, 10 high school players and two junior college transfers. Those 39 newcomers are made up of 19 defensive players, 18 offensive players and two specialists.

Collectively, the 27 four-year transfers joining the program have combined for 576 games played and 221 starts during their careers.

Highlighting this group are four players that garnered previous all-conference recognition in senior K Kian Afrookhteh, senior CB Antonio Bluiett, senior OLB Jordan Pendleton and junior ILB Asher Cunningham. Bluiett was named an FCS Honorable Mention All-American and first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree at North Dakota in 2025. Cunningham was named third-team All-Coastal Athletic Association at Elon in 2025. Afrookhteh earned honorable mention All-Sun Belt Conference honors at Coastal Carolina in 2025. Pendleton earned honorable mention All-Pioneer Football League honors at St. Thomas in 2025.

Fall Schedule
Utah State opens the 2026 season on Saturday, Sept. 5, as it hosts Idaho State and begins Pac-12 play at Boise State on Saturday, Oct. 3.

2026 Season Ticket Information
Football season ticket renewals for this fall are now open. Last year's season ticket holders have until April 3 to secure their seats for the 2026 campaign. Not currently a season ticket holder? Season tickets start at just $99 for Utah State's inaugural season in the new Pac-12.

Season Ticket Renewal Schedule
April 3 – Renewal deadline
April 15-17 – Season ticket relocations, including premium seating
June 30 – Payment plans end

Family Plan
A family plan is available for $450 and includes tickets for two adults and three youth in sections 216 and 220.

Value Tickets
Fans can purchase season tickets starting at $99 in sections 215, 216, 220 and 221. 

Pricing Update
Non-premium seating areas will see an overall price decrease of 5.9%.

Big Blue Club Membership and Priority Seating Requirements
2026 Big Blue Club memberships are now available. Season ticket holders with Club seats or West Level 1-5 seats are encouraged to renew their priority seat requirements before the April 3 deadline. Renewing early puts fans in the best position to take advantage of member benefits, including complimentary parking, access to single-game presales and priority for away game and postseason bowl tickets. Renewals can be made during the season ticket renewal process, or online.
