LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis extended its streak of consecutive sweeps to three with a 4-0 win over Portland State on Tuesday at the Sports Academy & Racquet Club.

Doubles 
Junior Keanu Rigby and sophomore Dmitri Goubin set the tone early for USU with a 6-2 win at the third position of doubles play. Sophomore Xavier Calvelo and freshman Jakub Medved then sealed the point with a 6-4 victory at the top spot of the lineup. At No. 2 doubles, sophomore Eliot Nobel and freshman Emmanuel Alex were locked in a one-point battle at the time the point was clinched.

Singles 
The Aggies wrapped up the match swiftly with straight-set victories at each of the bottom three positions while also holding dominant leads at the top three spots. At No. 4 singles, Medved was the first Aggie across the line, posting a 6-3, 6-2 win. Goubin followed shortly after with a 6-3, 6-0 win at the fifth position. Sophomore Eemil Pasanen then won the race to the clinching point at No. 6 singles, earning a 6-2, 6-3 win to secure USU's third-straight sweep. 

Each of the remaining three matches were left unfinished with each Aggie one point away from winning their match. At No. 1 singles, Calvelo held a 7-5, 5-1 lead while each of sophomore Roman Venger and Nobel had 5-3 leads in second sets at the second and third positions, respectively, before the match was clinched.
