Felts is a 6-foot-11, 220-pound center from St. George, Utah. He was named to the Scenic West Athletic Conference all-conference second team as a sophomore in 2025-26 after averaging 12.6 points on 58.9 percent (185-of-314) shooting from the floor and 42.4 percent (14-of-33) shooting from 3-point range, while also ranking third in the league in both rebounds per game (6.7) and blocked shots (26) in 22.2 minutes per contest. He made 21 starts and appeared in 33 games. Felts helped lead the Badgers to a 29-5 overall record, a Region 18 runner-up finish and a second round showing in the NJCAA National Tournament.

As a freshman in 2024-25 at Snow, Felts helped the squad to a 32-2 record, along with region and district championships. He averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per contest, while shooting 61.2 percent (71-of-116) from the floor.

Felts prepped at Crimson Cliffs High School in St. George, Utah, where he was a Utah 4A Second Team All-State selection as a senior and was named to the all-region first team. He ranked sixth in 4A in scoring and seventh in rebounding at 20.5 points and 7.2 boards per game. He is the school's record holder for points in a season (493) and points in a game (39).
