All games against San José State will be streamed via the Mountain West Network with live stats available via StatBroadcast. The game at Utah Valley will be broadcast on ESPN+. Links and live updates will be available on the USU softball social media pages and through UtahStateAggies.com.

AGGIES VS SPARTANS

Utah State and San José State have met 92 times previously, with the Spartans holding a 56-36 advantage in the series. The past 10 meetings between the sides have been split 5-5, including a two-game series sweep by the Aggies last season in San Jose (W, 5-0; W, 5-1). In Logan, USU is 19-20 against SJSU.

AGGIES VS WOLVERINES

Utah State and Utah Valley have met 45 times previously, with the Aggies holding a 29-16 advantage in the series. The past 10 meetings between the sides have been split 5-5, with USU falling twice to the Wolverines earlier this season at the Best of Utah Tournament in St. George (L, 1-10 (5); L, 7-13). In Orem, the Aggies are 13-7 against UVU.

ICYMI

Utah State is coming off of a 5-1 road victory over in-state foe Weber State in its last time out on Tuesday. The Aggies out-hit the Wildcats 11-3 in the win, while senior infielder Kaylee Erickson accounted for five of the team's six runs with home runs in the first and seventh innings. Senior outfielder Kya Pratt also came up big, going 3-for-3 with three doubles.

DOUBLE 'EM UP

Utah State's defense has excelled in doubling teams up this season. The Aggies have forced 18 double plays, which ranks 41st in the nation.

DON'T EVEN TRY IT

Aggie sophomore catcher Jaelyn Castillo has made life difficult for opposing base runners this season. She currently leads the conference and ranks 52nd nationally with nine times catching a runner stealing.

KYA'S ON FIYA

Senior outfielder Kya Pratt is having the best statistical season of her career, currently leading the squad with a .371 batting average, going 49-for-132 at the plate. Of her 49 hits, 19 have been for extra bases (14 doubles, one triple, four home runs). She also leads the Aggies with 30 RBIs and 23 runs scored, all while striking out just nine times.

CAN'T STOP KAYLEE

Despite missing 17 games this season with an injury, senior catcher Kaylee Erickson has been one of the nation's top power hitters. She ranks fifth in the conference with 10 home runs this season, hitting 0.38 per game. She doesn't qualify for the national leaderboard because of games played (minimum 75 percent), but her 0.38 home runs per game would rank 37th nationally.

BIG SERIES WINS

• Utah State opened its conference slate with a series win over Fresno State, taking two of the three contests with a 9-2 victory in the series opener and an 8-4 win in nine innings before falling to the Bulldogs, 6-2, in the series finale. The series win was USU's fourth conference-opening series win in the past five seasons. It was also the Aggies' first series win Fresno State since 2017 and the first in Fresno since 1981.

• The Aggies also earned a series victory over San Diego State, their first series win in San Diego in program history and just the fourth overall against the Aztecs. USU won the first game 4-3, then fell 9-1 in game two before bouncing back with a 5-4 win to take the series.

HAVE SOME FAITH!

Utah State sophomore outfielder Faith Kroening is having a major breakout season. After playing primarily as a pinch runner in 2025, totaling just four hits in 30 at-bats for a .133 batting average, Kroening has started all 43 games this season and ranks fourth on the squad with a .304 batting average (42-for-138).

OUCH! THAT HURT!

Utah State ranks 16th in the nation with 41 times being hit by pitch. Kaylee Erickson and Faith Kroening each rank in the top 10 in the conference in HBPs, ranking second and eighth, respectively, with 10 and seven HBPs.

GOING THE DISTANCE

In nine of Utah State's outings this season, an Aggie pitcher has thrown a complete game. Rylie Pindel leads the way with five complete games, all five of which were USU wins. Her five complete games rank fifth-most in the Mountain West.

UP NEXT

Utah State will play its final home games of the year next week, hosting Colorado State for a three-game series from April 24-26 at LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field. The Aggies will then wrap their home slate with a single game against in-state foe Weber State on Tuesday, April 28.
