LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis concluded its regular season with a 7-0 sweep at Weber State on Sunday at the Edman Tennis Courts. The Aggies finish the regular season at 16-5 overall.

Doubles 
In the team's second matchup against the Wildcats this season, the Aggies again began by taking the doubles point. Sophomore Xavier Calvelo and freshman Jakub Medved earned a 6-2 win at the first position of doubles play, setting up sophomores Roman Venger and Eliot Nobel to capture the opening point with a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles. At the second position, senior Jean-Baptiste Badon and sophomore Dmitri Goubin also led, 5-3, at the time the doubles point was clinched. 

Singles 
USU swiftly wrapped up the match with straight-set victories a five of six positions of the singles lineup. Nobel began with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles before Goubin pushed the lead to 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles. Sophomore Eemil Pasanen then earned the clinching point, winning at the sixth position, 6-1, 6-3, to seal the team victory.

Playing all matches to completion, Calvelo extended USU's lead to 5-0 with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles. Badon posted a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles before Medved completed the 7-0 sweep with a 6-2, 6-7 (6), 1-0 (10-4) win at No. 4 singles.
