LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach Wesley Brooks announced the signing of Kylani Rookstool on Thursday.

"Kylani is a player we're really excited to bring into our program," Brooks said. "She's a proven scorer who has produced at a high level and what stands out most is her efficiency. To lead your team in field goal percentage and three-point percentage speaks to her shot selection and ability to stretch the floor, and being top-three in free throw percentage shows her consistency. She brings leadership, confidence, and the ability to impact the game in multiple ways on the offensive end. We're looking forward to what she can add to our group right away, both in terms of production and veteran presence."

Rookstool, a 5-foot-9 guard, joins the Aggies after playing the 2025-26 season at Western Oregon where she started all 28 games and averaged 15.5 points per game while shooting 46.4 percent overall from the field and 40.1 percent from 3-point range, earning unanimous first-team all-GNAC honors. Rookstool also added 4.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals per contest for the Wolves, helping the team reach the semifinals of the GNAC Championships. Rookstool scored in double figures 19 times last season, including 11 games with 20 points or more. She scored a season-high 30 points against Evergreen State while going 6-of-11 from behind the arc, one of seven games of the season in which she made five or more 3-pointers.

Prior to Western Oregon, Rookstool played one season at North Idaho College where she averaged 14.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor, 37.3 percent from behind the arc and 85.3 percent from the free throw line. She began her career at the University of Saint Katherine in San Marcos, California, where she averaged 13.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Rookstool, originally from Snohomish, Washington, played her high school career at Glacier Peak High School where she earned first-team all-conference in both her junior and senior seasons, also being named the team MVP her senior year.
