LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach Wesley Brooks announced the signing of Addy Horsley on Thursday.

"Addy bolsters our guard depth and fits our style of play," Brooks said. "What impresses the most with Addy is her ability to get to the free throw line, earning 199 FTs and shooting 82 percent last season. She is a very capable facilitator— averaging six assists per game on any level is absolutely insane. We look forward to having her on our team."

Horsley comes to USU after playing her freshman season at Chandler-Gilbert CC in Arizona. There, Horsley led the team with 17.9 points per game alongside a team-high 6.0 assists and 2.4 steals plus 6.0 rebounds per game. Horsley appeared in 27 games with 25 starts, reaching double figures in 25 games and scoring 20-plus in 10 games, including a career-high 29 against Pima CC and Phoenix College. She recorded a triple-double against South Mountain CC, scoring 14 points with season-highs of 11 rebounds and 12 assists while adding four steals. Horsley narrowly missed another triple-double during her 29-point outing against Phoenix College, also grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out nine assists. Horsley helped lead the Coyotes to 17 wins, the program's most since 2009, and earned First Team All-ACCAC (Region 1) honors.

Originally from Bluffdale, Utah, Horsley played her high school career at Bingham High School in South Jordan, Utah. She was a three-time 6A all-state honoree, earning third-team honors as a junior and being named first-team as both a sophomore and senior. For her career, Horsley totaled nearly 1,400 points and over 300 rebounds, 300 assists and 240 steals. As a senior, she averaged 15.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.9 steals per game, helping to lead the Miners to the semifinals of the state championship.
