LOGAN, Utah – Utah State track & field had 14 student-athletes selected to the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field All-Mountain West team, it was announced by the conference on Tuesday. The top three finishers in each event at the MW Outdoor Championships earn all-conference honors.
Utah State's 14 honorees rank third-most in the conference, only behind New Mexico (28) and Colorado State (21), and are the program's most since 2019.

David Konan earned all-MW honors.
Deede claimed Utah State's first gold medal of the conference championships, and his third career All-MW accolades, by winning the men's javelin title with a throw of 72.91 meters (239-2).
Kace Jones joined him on the podium with his silver-medal throw of 62.72 meters (205-9).
USU won gold in the men's 4x100-meter relay for the first time since 2014 as the quartet of Chase, Hall, Konan and Ojo crossed the line in 39.87, which ranks sixth in Aggie history.
Bott won his second-straight MW outdoor title in the men's 800 meters, beating the field with a time of 1:48.18 en route to his seventh career placement on the All-MW team.
Hammer won his fourth-straight Mountain West outdoor title in the men's pole vault, clearing 5.55 meters (18-2.5) to claim his seventh career All-MW honors.
Ojo earned the silver medal in the men's 100 meters while also breaking the Utah State record and setting the fifth-fastest time in MW history in the event with his time of 10.09.
Garnica earned his first career MW medal, claiming silver in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:39.66.
Richards claimed the silver medal in the men's decathlon with 7,254 points, the sixth MW medal of his career and second in the decathlon.
Shay Jones earned bronze in the women's 400 meters, crossing the line in 52.44 to earn the first MW medal of her career.
Petersen won the bronze medal in the women's 100-meter hurdles, clocking in with a time of 13.44 that also ranks third in Utah State history.
The women's 4x400-meter relay team of Harper, Ivins, Petersen and
Shay Jones rounded out the championships with a bronze-medal performance, finishing in 3:38.88.
Utah State's individual athletes will await their postseason fate, with invited athletes set to compete at the NCAA West First Rounds in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from Wednesday to Saturday, May 27-30.
