LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head women's basketball coach Wesley Brooks announced the addition of Tori Williams as the team's chief of staff.

Willams comes to Logan after last serving as the head coach for the 15U team with the New Jersey Gems of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) where she led the offensive and defensive game plans, group workouts and coordinated fundraising and team travel. Before coaching the Gemz, Williams worked as an executive recruiting coordinator for Parker Executive, creating and travel plans for candidates across the education, sport and health sciences industries.

Prior to Parker Executive, she worked as the director of on-campus recruiting for East Carolina football where she managed itineraries and travel plans for incoming prospects. Williams began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at VCU in 2021-22, assisting the director of operations and logistics for the women's basketball team.

Williams began her playing career at Utah before spending her final three years at Colorado State. In 2017-18 with the Utes, Williams was a Pac-12 All-Freshman selection by media and Pac-12 All-Freshman team honorable mention by the coaches while helping lead Utah to the second round of the WNIT. At CSU, Williams was one of the top guards in the Mountain West, appearing in 47 games across two seasons and averaging 10.2 points, 3.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game for the Rams. She posted the third-highest assist-to-turnover ratio in the conference in 2019-20 and in 2020-21, she ranked second in the league with a 35.7 percent mark from 3-point range. Williams attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, where she was the 2017 Gatorade Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American nominee.

Williams graduated from Colorado State in 2021 with a degree in communications and earned a master's degree in sports leadership and management from VCU in 2022.
