LOGAN, Utah – Under the direction of second year head coach Bronco Mendenhall, Utah State football will begin fall camp on Wednesday, Aug. 5. All practices will be closed to the public. Media availability for coaches and players will occur immediately following practice.
Fans are invited to interact with the team on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 3:30-5:30 p.m., as part of its annual Football Family Fun Day, which is sponsored by USU Alumni.
The team will not be holding a practice during Football Family Fun Day, but there will be a youth clinic on the field, along with a variety of fan activities on the concourse including autographs from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Other activities include:

* Food trucks
* Face painter
* Balloon artist
Inside The Roster
Utah State returns nine starters (O-4, D-5) and 22 letterwinners (O-8, D-12, S-2) from last year's team that went 6-7 overall and finished in seventh place in the Mountain West with a 4-4 league record. The Aggies concluded their season by playing in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, which was their 12th bowl game in the last 15 years and their 18th all-time. USU also welcomes back 14 redshirts (O-8, D-4, S-2) and eight more players (O-3, D-5) that were members of the program in 2025.
Highlighting Utah State's returners in 2026 are two players that garnered All-Mountain West recognition last year in graduate ILB Bronson Oleavo Jr. and senior S Brevin Hamblin, as both players earned honorable mention All-MW.
Other starters returning for Utah State in 2026 include graduate RB Javen Jacobs, graduate OL George Maile, graduate OL Tavo Motu'apuaka, graduate OL Jimmy Liston, senior DT Tyree Morris, sophomore OLB Chris Joe and sophomore DT Carson Tujague.
Utah State returns seven more players who have made starts with the Aggies in graduate CB Bobby Arnold (6), graduate WR Anthony Garcia (4), junior CB D'Angelo Mayes (4), sophomore RB Noah White (2), junior ILB Mataira Brown (1), junior OL K'leyone Iosua (1), and junior TE Kache Kaio (1).
Newcomers
Utah State welcomes 68 newcomers to the program (O-32, D- 32, S-4), which includes 34 four-year transfers, 32 high school players and two junior college transfers. Collectively, the 34 four-year transfers joining the program have combined for 651 games played and 273 starts during their careers.
Highlighting this group are five players that garnered previous All-Conference recognition in graduate CB Antonio Bluiett, graduate ILB Brycen Edwards, senior K Kian Afrookhteh, senior OLB Jordan Pendleton and junior ILB Asher Cunningham. Bluiett was named an FCS Honorable Mention All-American and first-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree at North Dakota in 2025. Edwards was named second-team All-Patriot League at Lehigh in 2025. Cunningham was named third-team All-Coastal Athletic Association at Elon in 2025. Afrookhteh earned honorable mention All-Sun Belt Conference honors at Coastal Carolina in 2025. Pendleton earned honorable mention All-Pioneer Football League honors at St. Thomas in 2025.
Fall Schedule
Utah State will be entering its first season in the Pac-12 Conference this fall and play home non-conference matchups against Idaho State on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m., and Troy for its Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. USU will conclude its season at home with a Flex game, currently schedule to be Boise State, on Saturday, Nov. 28. Kickoff time for that game will be announced at a later date.
Utah State's conference home schedule includes games against Washington State on Friday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m., Colorado State on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 1:30 p.m., and Fresno State on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m.
