LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head softball coach Kristen Zaleski announced the signing of transfer pitcher Sadie Su'a on Tuesday. Su'a will join the Aggies as a junior for the 2027 season after beginning her career at Grand Canyon then playing last season at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Su'a, a native of Phoenix, was the Arizona Community College Athletic College (ACCAC) Division II Player of the Year her sophomore campaign in 2026 as a two-way standout. As a hitter, she led the conference in hits (102), runs (94), doubles (30) and RBIs (76), while batting .483 (102-for-211) with a .561 on-base percentage and a .877 slugging percentage. She added four triples, 15 home runs, 36 walks and 26 stolen bases to her stat line, leading the team in each category.

In the pitching circle, Su'a made a team-best 43 appearances with 24 starts, throwing 161.2 innings. She posted a 2.42 ERA with 162 strikeouts and 72 walks, allowing just 56 earned runs with a 17-5 pitching record. She also earned seven saves and threw nine complete games.

Su'a spent her freshman season at Grand Canyon in 2024, but did not appear in any games for the Lopes. 

Su'a prepped at Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Arizona, where she was a four-year letterwinner and a four-year varsity starter. She earned first team all-region and all-conference recognition her senior season.
