• Utah State and Utah will be meeting for the 114th time this weekend in what is the eighth-most played series in the western United States, tied for the 34th-most played series in the nation at the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level and tied for the 49th-most played series in college football.
• Utah State is 29-80-4 all-time against Utah, including a 17-54-4 road record. The last time the two teams played one another was on Sept. 14, 2024, with Utah posting a 38-21 road win. Utah has won the last three games in the series with the last USU victory coming on Sept. 7, 2012, at home in overtime, 27-20. Overall, USU has lost eight straight road games to the Utes since posting a 21-14 road win in 1997.
