LOGAN, Utah – Utah State (0-1) plays its first road game of the 2026 season at Husky Stadium against No. 17 Washington (1-0) on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 1:30 p.m. (MT). • Utah State is 0-3 all-time against Washington, with all three meetings occurring in Seattle. The last time the two teams played one another was on Sept. 19, 2015, with UW posting a 31-17 win. USU is 1-31 all-time against current members of the Big Ten with its lone win coming at Wisconsin in 1968 .

Bronco Mendenhall owns a 146-96 (.603) career record and has led 17 of his 19 teams to bowl eligibility, which ranks second among active FBS coaches. His 147 career wins rank as the fourth-most among active FBS coaches.
• Utah State is 6-72 all-time against Associated Press-ranked teams, but has won five of its last 23 games, including its 46-13 win at No. 19 San Diego State in the 2021 Mountain West Championship game, which was its last win against an AP top 25 team. • Utah State welcomes 67 newcomers (O-32, D-31, S-4) to the program, which includes 35 four-year transfers (O-14, D-18, S-3), 30 high school players (O-18, D-12, S-0), and two junior college transfers (O-1, D-0, S-1).
