2013-14 SEASON (RS): Redshirted the season before going on LDS Church Mission.

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-year letterwinner at Albuquerque (N.M) High School... Earned all-District 5-5A honors as a senior after averaging 10.7 points, 13.9 rebounds, 4.1 blocks, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per game in helping the Bulldogs to a 16-11 overall and 7-3 league mark, falling in the state tournament quarterfinals... Posted 7.8 points, 8.6 rebounds per game as a junior, as AHS recorded a 22-5 overall and 8-0 league record, finishing sixth in the state of New Mexico... Also a two-year letterwinner on the Bulldogs' water polo team, helping AHS win the state title during senior season after finishing second as a junior... Also lettered on the AHS baseball team.

PERSONAL: Full name is James Croasdell... Son of Jeff and Michelle Croasdell... Mother, Michelle, is a professor at University of New Mexico in the college of education... Has three sisters... Grandfather, Karl Braithwaite played college football and baseball at Southern Utah... Intends on majoring in economics and statistics with emphasis in actuary sciences... Last name is pronounced Cross-dell.
