2020 (SR): Played in 20 games, starting 19... Played at second base and as the designated player... Batted .250, recording 11 hits in 44 at-bats... Had a season-high two hits against Santa Clara (March 1)... Hit two doubles... Scored four runs and had four RBIs... Was walked nine times and hit by a pitch twice... Recorded 25 putouts and 15 assists with a .909 fielding percentage... Season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (JR): Played in 24 games, starting 13... Made starts at catcher and designated player, with additional appearances as a pinch hitter... Batted .256 on the year with 11 hits in 43 at-bats... Had a season-best two hits against Fresno State (April 19)... Hit two doubles and two home runs during the season... Scored four runs and batted in another nine... Was walked seven times and hit by a pitch four times... Tallied 27 putouts with a season-high seven against Iowa State (March 8)... Added one assist and had just one error on the year for a .966 fielding percentage... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.
2018 (SO): Played in 26 games, starting 18... Batted .227 on the season with 10 hits in 44 at-bats... Had multiple hits in two games... Hit two home runs, including a grand slam at BYU (April 25)... Tallied nine RBIs and scored two runs... Was walked nine times on the year... Had just one error for a .995 fielding percentage... Had a season-best seven putouts against Idaho State (April 11).
2017 (FR): Played in 12 games, starting six... Saw time as catcher and as a pinch hitter... Hit .111 on the year with two hits in 18 at-bats... Hit her first-career home run against Wagner (March 10)... Scored two runs and had three RBIs... Was walked four times... Had 32 putouts with a perfect fielding percentage... Had a season-best 10 putouts against UTEP (Feb. 26)... Was a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete Award recipient.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Rossmoyne (Western Australia) Senior High School... Played five seasons for the Carine Cats Softball Club... Helped team to state league titles in 2012 and 2014... Earned team’s batting award in 2013... Named MVP of the 2015 Grand Final... Played on the Western Australia U17 team for the 2011-12 seasons and on the U19 team from 2011-14... Played on the Australian Junior National Team twice, playing in the Junior World Championships in 2013 and 2015.
PERSONAL: Daughter of David and Jennifer Alvarado... Graduated in May, 2020 with a degree in business administration.
