JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played one season at Phoenix (Ariz.) College... Batted .336 with 43 hits... Tallied six doubles and eight home runs... Scored 24 runs and batted in 32.

LAST SCHOOL: Spent all of the 2012 and fall of the 2013 seasons at Southeast Missouri State... Started 32 games at second base... Earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Gilbert (Ariz.) High School... Hit .347 with two home runs and 37 RBIs as a senior... Garnered all-region accolades three times... Was also a three-year starter on the basketball team... Played club softball for AZ Hotshots Gold.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Adam and Kimberly Mesa... Has one older brother... Graduated in May, 2016 with a degree in biology.
