Stole a team-high eight bases with a .889 stolen base percentage... Put out 61 runners, including a season-high four against New Mexico State (March 29).

2012 (FR): Started 40 games in five different positions appearing in 42 games... Had six RBIs, one double and two triples... Posted the third-highest batting average for players returning at .269... Produced 29 hits... Tied for a team-high in triples with two... Posted a 1.000 stolen base percentage as she took two bases on two attempts.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner at Chico (Calif.) High School... Had a .480 career batting average... Selected to the all-section team four consecutive years... Section champion in 2011.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Frank and Carla Koons, who are both teachers... Has two brothers and one sister... Graduated in May, 2015 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
