2015 SEASON (JR): Played in 28 matches with seven starts, appearing in 82 sets... Finished the year with 103 digs, recording double digits in three matches, including season highs of 12 at UNLV (10/29) and at home against Nevada (11/12)... Recorded nine service aces, including a season-high two against San José State (10/10) and Idaho State (9/11)... Also tallied nine attacks, eight assists and two kills during the year... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.
2014 SEASON (SO): Played in 15 matches with two starts, appearing in 50 sets... Gained playing time in 15 of Utah State’s final 16 matches on the year, playing on the back row and serving... Logged one kill, five assists, seven service aces and 67 digs, including a season-high eight against Air Force (10/30) and at Boise State (10/14)... Recorded a career-high three service aces against Air Force (10/30)... Carried season averages of 0.02 kills, 0.10 assists, 0.14 aces and 1.34 digs per set... Earned academic all-Mountain West and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete honors.
2013 SEASON (FR): Redshirted her first year at Utah State.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Helped lead Sky View High School (Smithfield, Utah) to the Utah 4A State Championship in senior season... Tallied 374 kills on a .297 attack percentage, adding 286 digs, six solo blocks and 15 block assists, on the way to being named The Herald Journal all-Valley Volleyball Player of the Year... Was also the Salt Lake Tribune Utah 4A MVP, as well as earning first-team all-state honors... Was named the 4A Tournament MVP, highlighted by tallying 24 kills in championship match and also earned 4A all-tournament team accolades... Helped lead the Bobcats to a 30-3 overall record in senior season, including going unbeaten in region play in winning third-straight region championship... Competed for the Wildcat Volleyball Club... Additionally, was a three-time all-region selection, a two-time first-team all-valley honoree, as well as The Herald Journal Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore... Also a two-year letterwinner for the Bobcats’ girls’ basketball team as a sophomore and junior, earning first-team all-region and first-team all-valley honors in helping Sky View to a second-place finish in the region all three years... Was a member of the Sky View HS National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Oldest of four children of Kevin and Jaynee Day... Has two brothers and one sister... Majoring in family, consumer and human development... Married Derek Larsen, a linebacker on the USU football team, in May, 2016.
