2018 (JR): Did not play due to injury.

2017 (SO): Played in all 13 games, making two starts… Recorded a career-high six tackles, and his first-career tackle for loss, at No. 9 Wisconsin (9/1)… Registered five tackles at UNLV (10/21) and had four stops at Air Force (11/25)… Had three tackles and his first-career forced fumble against Colorado State (10/7)… Also had three tackles each against Idaho State (9/7), at Wake Forest (9/16) and against BYU (9/29).

2016 (RS-FR): Played in eight games, making his first career start at Colorado State (10/8)… Recorded one tackle during the season at Nevada (11/19).

2015 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named a MaxPreps Small Schools All-American at tight end following his senior season at Cascade Christian High School in Puyallup, Wash., as he had 25 catches for 528 yards (21.1 ypc) with eight touchdowns, while rushing one time for seven yards... Also earned Washington Class 1A first-team all-state honors at linebacker from The Associated Press, Seattle Times and American Family Insurance as a prep senior as he helped lead the Cougars to a perfect 13-0 record and a state championship as he recorded 150 total tackles, which included 10.0 sacks and 13.0 tackles for loss, while adding 10 quarterback hurries, four pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and one interception... During his senior season, he had one 100-yard receiving game as he caught three passes for a career-high 132 yards against Sehome HS... Also had nine double-digit tackle outings during the season, including a career-high 20 stops against Orting HS and 19 tackles against Eatonville HS... Added 2.0 sacks in four different games... Earned Washington Class 1A first-team all-state honors at linebacker following his junior season as he posted 100 total tackles, which included 4.0 sacks and 7.0 tackles for loss, while adding one interception... Also caught 21 passes for 386 yards with seven touchdowns as he helped Cascade Christian HS to an 11-1 record and an appearance in the semifinals of the state championship... During his junior campaign, he had two 100-yard receiving games with three receptions for 116 yards with two touchdowns against King’s HS and three receptions for 101 yards with one touchdown against Cedar Park Christian HS.... Also had 10 double-digit tackle games during the year, including a season-best 15 stops against both Port Townsend HS and King’s HS... Academically, was a scholar-athlete.  

PERSONAL: One of four children of Rob Tobeck and Beth Tulis... His dad played college football at Washington State and spent 13 years in the NFL with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks, playing in two Super Bowls... Majoring in exercise science.
