RECORDS
Was 35-of-49 (.714) on field goals and ranks fifth all-time in school history in career field goal percentage, tied for seventh all-time in field goals made and is eighth all-time in field goals attempted… Is also 95-of-98 (.969) all-time in extra points as he ranks fourth in extra points made and attempted, and eighth in extra point percentage... Also ranks eighth all-time with 206 career points scored... During the 2021 season, he set the single-season school record for field goals attempted (29), was third in extra points made (52), third in extra points attempted (54), fourth in points scored (112) and fourth in field goals made (20)... Made a career-long 53-yard field goal against Memphis (12/27/22) in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl, which is tied for the eighth-longest in school history.

2022 (SENIOR SEASON)
Served as the team’s placekicker in all 13 games... Led the team with 75 points as he was 12-of-17 (.706) on field goals and 33-for-33 on extra points... Was 3-of-3 on field goals from 20-29 yards, 3-of-4 on field goals from 30-39 yards, 4-of-6 on field goals from 40-49 yards, and 2-of-4 on field goals of 50-plus yards... Became the eighth player in school history to not miss an extra point during the season (minimum of 20 attempts)... Ranked eighth in the Mountain West and 72nd in the nation in field goals made per game (1.0), and eighth in the MW and 82nd in the nation in field goal percentage (.706)... Also ranked eighth in the MW in points scored per game (6.2) and ninth in the MW in total points scored (75)... Named the MW Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against New Mexico (11/5), as he scored a career-high-tying 15 points as he was 2-of-3 on field goals (49, 27) and 3-for-3 on extra points, while scoring his first-career touchdown on a 6-yard run on a fake field goal... Made a career-long 53-yard field goal against Memphis (12/27) in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl, which is tied for the eighth-longest in school history... Was 2-of-2 on field goals at No. 19 BYU (9/29) as he was good from 50 and 33 yards.

2021 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Served as the team’s placekicker in all 14 games… Led the team with 112 points as he was 20-of-29 (.690) on field goals and 52-of-54 (.963) on extra points… Set the single-season school record for field goals attempted (29), was third in extra points made (52) and attempted (54), and fourth in points scored (112) and field goals made (20)… Ranked fifth in the Mountain West and 31st in the nation in field goals made (1.43 pg), and fifth in the MW and 38th in the nation in scoring (8.0 ppg)… Named the MW Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance at Washington State (9/4) after scoring 10 points as he was 3-of-3 on field goals (23, 39, 28) and 1-for-1 on extra points as those three field goals were a career high at the time… Was 2-of-2 on field goals (26, 37) the following weekend against North Dakota (9/10)… Was 2-for-2 on field goals (52, 45) against No. 13 BYU, as his 52-yarder is a career long and tied for the 10th-longest in school history… Finished the season by making 12 of 16 field goals over the last eight games… Was one of three players named a Lou Groza Star of the Week following his performance against Colorado State (10/22) as he was 4-of-4 on field goals (45, 30, 42, 34) and 2-for-2 on extra points and scored a then-career-high 14 points... His field goals made and attempted against CSU are both career highs… Against Hawai’i (10/30), he was 3-of-3 on field goals (40, 22, 22) and 6-for-6 on extra points for a career-high 15 points… He also made 2-of-3 field goals and was 6-for-6 on extra points against San José State (11/13) as he scored 12 points... Those six PAT’s made and attempted are career highs... Earned academic all-MW honors.

2020 (COVID SEASON)
Played in four games and finished the season by scoring 17 points as he was 3-of-3 on field goals and 8-of-9 on extra points... Was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance against New Mexico (11/26), as he was 2-of-2 on field goals and 5-of-5 on extra points, scoring a then-career-high 11 points… Against the Lobos, he made field goals from 27 and a then-career-long 44 yards… Also made a 38-yard field goal against Fresno State (11/14)… Earned academic all-MW and MW Scholar-Athlete honors.

2019 (SOPHOMORE SEASON)
Appeared in one game during the season as he kicked off three times for 145 yards (48.3 ypk) with one touchback against Stony Brook (9/7)... A Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.

2018 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON)
Appeared in one game against Tennessee Tech (9/13) and converted two extra points, kicked off one time for 64 yards and recorded a special teams tackle... A Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.

2017 (REDSHIRT SEASON)
Redshirted as he appeared in two games... Kicked off two times for 130 yards against Idaho State (9/7) and one time for 35 yards at San José State (9/23)… Averaged 55.0 yards on his three kickoffs… Also recorded his first-career tackle against the Bengals.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned Montana Class AA first-team all-state honors as a placekicker as a prep senior at Bozeman High School as he made 6-of-8 field goals and was 36-of-39 on extra points... Averaged 5.4 points per game... Also earned all-conference honors as a punter as a senior as he punted 26 times for an average of 35.1 yards with a long of 64, while six of his punts were downed inside the 20-yard line... Also kicked off 60 times with 36 touchbacks during his senior campaign... Finished his prep career as the school record holder in PAT percentage, touchback percentage and number of made field goals in a season... Helped the Hawks to a state championship during his junior season... Also played soccer in high school as he scored five goals and had eight assists during his junior season, helping Bozeman HS to a third-place finish in the state tournament... Earned academic all-state honors in each of his final three years in high school.

PERSONAL
One of two children of Craig and Rhonda Coles... Graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2021 with a degree in political science.
