UTAH STATE: A really good athlete who can make plays with the ball in his hands... Has a high football IQ.

2017 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Utah Class 4A first-team all-state honors in 2013 at running back by the Deseret News and second-team all-state honors by the Salt Lake Tribune as a prep senior at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, as he rushed for 1,042 yards on 87 carries (12.0 ypc) with 15 touchdowns as he helped lead the Leopards to a 13-1 record, losing in the 4A state championship game... Was also named the Region 6 Offensive Most Valuable Player as he had 15 receptions for 475 yards (31.7 ypr) with five touchdowns, to go along with 56 total tackles and four interceptions during his senior season... In the 2013 4A state title game against Timpview HS, he rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns, had one reception for 12 yards and recorded five tackles... Rushed for 654 yards and nine touchdowns on 61 carries (10.7 ypc) as a junior, and 279 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore, helping the Leopards to the 4A title game... A three-year starter on the Leopards’ baseball and basketball teams, earning first-team all-Region 6 honors in baseball as a junior. 

PERSONAL: One of four sons of Kyle and Barbara Curtis... Served a two-year LDS Church Mission to Rancagua, Chile... Majoring in economics.
