2019 (Fr.): Became the highest ranked Aggie of all-time as a singles player when he came in at No. 111 in the ninth week of the ITA singles rankings (3/5/19)… Earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Mountain Region Rookie of the Year... Earned all-Mountain West singles honors and became the first Aggie in program history to earn Mountain West Freshman of the Year... Posted a 19-16 overall singles record, including a 12-12 mark in dual matches and 2-3 against Mountain West competition playing exclusively at the No. 1 spot… Defeated then-25th ranked Joseph Guillin of UCSB, marking the highest ranked opponent an Aggie has defeated in program history... Provided the match-clinching point against Weber State (1/13/19) and against Boise State in the Mountain West Tournament quarterfinal match (4/25/19)... Recorded a 11-16 overall doubles mark, including a 9-12 record in dual matches and a 2-4 ledger against Mountain West foes… Competed with sophomore Jose Carvajal (4-7), sophomore Felipe Acosta (5-4), freshman Rithvik Bollipalli (2-3) and junior Duro Opacic (0-2)... During the fall, defeated New Mexico’s Dominic West 6-2, 6-3, in the singles final at the Midland Invitational in Midland, Texas, becoming the first Aggie since Tomas Cosmai in 2014 to capture a fall tournament title... Started the fall season 5-0 in singles play, which is the best start for an Aggie freshman since Tanner Dance went 3-1 in 2009... Earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors on Feb. 13, after posting a combined 4-0 record in wins against Santa Clara and Montana State...
