2017 (SR): Earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors after starting all 13 games at safety… Finished second on the team with 94 tackles (47-solo, 47-assist), which included 1.0 tackles for loss… Also ranked second on the team with four interceptions and finished tied for third with his five pass breakups… Added one quarterback hurry and returned one kickoff for 10 yards on the season… Recorded a season-high 11 tackles against BYU (9/29), which included 0.5 tackles for loss, while adding one pass breakup and intercepting one pass that he returned 26 yards… Had nine tackles at Wake Forest (9/16) and against Hawai’i (11/18)… Posted eight tackles each against Wyoming (10/14), UNLV (10/21), Boise State (10/28) and Air Force (11/25)… Had seven tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss, and a career-best two pass breakups at No. 9 Wisconsin (9/1)… Also had seven tackles against New Mexico State (12/29) in the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, while adding one pass breakup and an interception that he returned 20 yards.

2016 (RS-JR): Started all eight games that he played in… Missed Mountain West games against Boise State (10/1), Colorado State (10/8), Fresno State (10/22) and Nevada (11/19) due to injury… Finished the season fourth on the team with 57 tackles (32-solo, 25-assist), which included 2.0 tackles for loss, while adding two quarterback hurries, one pass breakup, and a team-best three interceptions… Recorded a career-high 15 tackles, to go along with one pass breakup at USC (9/10)… Added nine tackles and one quarterback hurry against San Diego State (10/28), and had eight stops with one quarterback hurry against New Mexico (11/12)… Recorded at least five tackles in six of the eight games he played in… Intercepted passes against Weber State (9/1), Arkansas State (9/16) and BYU (11/26), returning his pick against the Cougars seven yards… Had 1.0 tackles for loss against both Weber State and Arkansas State.

2015 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State after transferring from BYU.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Started four games and played in 11 as a sophomore during the 2014 season at BYU and finished the year fifth on the team with 43 tackles (31-solo, 12-assist), which included 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, while adding two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry... Recorded a then career-high seven tackles, which included 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sacks against Texas... Had five or more tackles in five different games, including five stops against Utah State... Played in all 13 games with one start during his freshman season at BYU in 2013 and finished the year with 17 tackles (11-solo, 6-assist), including a season-high six stops in his first career game at Virginia... Had three tackles against Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) Class 6A first-team all-state honors and was named the Class 6A co-Defensive Player of the Year as a prep senior at Central Catholic High School in Portland, Ore., as he helped lead the Rams to a 9-3 record and the Mt. Hood League Championship... Recorded 71 tackles, which included 2.0 sacks and 3.0 tackles for loss, while adding three interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery during his senior season... Also rushed for 269 yards on 54 carries (5.0 ypc) with seven touchdowns, caught seven passes for 82 yards (11.7 ypc), and returned 11 punts for 164 yards (14.9 ypr) as a prep senior... During his senior season, he had three double-digit tackle outings, including a career-high 20 stops against Jesuit HS... Also rushed for a career-high 110 yards on 18 carries versus Sheldon HS... Helped Central Catholic HS to the Mt. Hood League Championship during his junior season, as well, as he recorded 62 total tackles, which included 4.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 sacks, while adding six interceptions and one forced fumble... Also rushed for 140 yards on 13 carries (10.8 ypc) with three touchdowns, caught 11 passes for 166 yards (15.1 ypc), returned seven kickoffs for 166 yards (23.7 ypr) and returned nine punts for 180 yards (20.0 ypr) during his junior campaign... Was rated as the No. 5 prospect in the state of Oregon following his senior season in 2012 by Scout.com.

PERSONAL: One of four children of Jared and Tania Leavitt... Graduated from USU in the fall of 2017 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in health and wellness... Married former USU soccer player Josie Deere in July, 2016.
