HONORS: Academic All-Mountain West (2015); Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (2015). 2015 (SR): Played in all 13 games and made six starts, with four coming at left guard and two at left tackle... Had an overall performance grade of 70 percent... Finished the season with 15.0 knockdowns, including a season-high three against Southern Utah (9/3)... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors and was a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete. PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Spent the last four years at UCLA, redshirting in 2011... Saw action on both the offensive line and on special teams as a redshirt freshman, sophomore and junior... Earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in Winter 2012, Fall 2013 and Fall 2014. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and All-Sunset League first-team honors and was named his team's Offensive Player of the Year as a prep senior in 2010 at Los Alamitos (Calif.) High School as he helped the Griffins to an 8-3 record and a Sunset League Championship with a perfect 5-0 record... During his senior season, he helped Los Alamitos HS average 27.4 points and 219.3 rushing yards per game... Also earned GoldenStatePreps.com All-Southern California first-team and SectionSports.com All-Southern Section first-team honors as a prep senior, while also being named to the All-Orange County second-team along with being a PrepStar All-Region selection... Following his high school career, he was rated as the nation's No. 40 offensive guard by ESPN.com, No. 45 among guard prospects by Scout.com, the No. 10 offensive guard in the West by Scout.com and the No. 34 player in CA/HI/NV area by SuperPrep... Was also a member of the Tacoma News Tribune Western 100... Also helped Los Alamitos HS to a Sunset League Championship during his sophomore season in 2008... Academically, was named a National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete award winner... Overall, he started 22 varsity games during his prep career.
