2015 (SR): Started all 11 games he played in and earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors... Ranked tied for first in the MW and tied for seventh in the nation in blocked kicks with two (0.18 pg) to lead the team, and tied for fifth in the MW in forced fumbles with two (0.18 pg), which tied for the team lead... Ranked first on the team with 4.5 sacks and seventh on the team and second among defensive linemen with 50 tackles (26-solo, 24-assist)... Was also third on the team with his 12.5 tackles for loss, to go along with two pass breakups... Recorded a career-high eight tackles against both Utah (9/11) and Akron (12/22) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl... Also had a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss, which included 0.5 sacks, against the Zips... Added five stops against Colorado State (10/3), New Mexico (11/7), Air Force (11/14) and BYU (11/28)... Had at least 1.0 tackles for loss in eight games and at least 0.5 sacks in five games... Had 1.0 sacks against Southern Utah (9/3), Colorado State, New Mexico (11/7), BYU (11/28) and Akron... Had 2.0 tackles for loss against Colorado State, Fresno State (10/10) and New Mexico... Other tackles for loss were against Utah and Nevada... His forced fumbles were against Colorado State and New Mexico, while his pass breakups were against New Mexico and Akron... Blocked an extra point against Southern Utah that was returned for a two-point conversion... Also blocked an extra point against Nevada... Saw time on offense and carried the ball one time for one yard at Washington (9/19), scoring his first career touchdown... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2014 (JR): Played in 10 games... Finished the season with eight tackles, which included 0.5 sacks and 1.5 tackles for loss... Had a season-high two tackles against Air Force (10/11), San José State (11/21) and Boise State (11/29)... Also had tackles against UNLV (10/25) and New Mexico (11/15)... His sack was against UNLV, while his other 0.5 tackles for loss were against AFA and SJSU... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) first-team all-state and all-Northern Division honors in the Northern California Football Association (NCFA) at nose guard as a sophomore at Cerritos Junior College in Norwalk, Calif., as he recorded 55.0 tackles, which included 4.0 sacks and 8.0 tackles for loss, to go along with one fumble recovery and one interception... Best game of the year was against Grossmont JC in the Western State Bowl as he had eight tackles, which included 1.0 sacks and 2.0 tackles for loss, while adding one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one interception as he was named the game's Defensive MVP... Had a season-high nine tackles against Moorpark JC and had eight tackles, including 1.0 sacks, against Mt. San Antonio JC... Was a preseason All-American entering his sophomore season at Cerritos CC... Earned first-team all-state and all-Northern Division honors as a freshman at Cerritos CC as he finished third on the team with 49 tackles, which included 4.0 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss... Recorded a season-high eight tackles in each of the final two games of the season, including a season-high 2.5 tackles for loss against Moorpark JC... Also had seven tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss against Los Angeles Harbor College.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Redshirted during the 2011 season at Arizona State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) first-team honors and was also named first-team all-state, all-area and all-league at nose guard as a prep senior at Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, Calif., as he recorded 91 tackles, which included 18.5 sacks... Also had one interception that he returned 30 yards as he was named his team's Defensive MVP.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 30, 1992... Son of Saipalesi Lataki and Dakipole Moala... Has five brothers and sisters... Brother, Fili Moala, plays in the NFL for Indianapolis, while brother, Sifa, played football at UNLV and brother, Tolu, played football at Oklahoma State... Cousin, Haloti Ngata, plays in the NFL for Detroit... Cousin, Laiu Moeakiola, is on the football team at Arizona State and cousin, Tevita Moala, played football at Oregon State... Will graduate from Utah State in the spring of 2016 with a degree in sociology... Last name is pronounced Moe-ah-la.
