2016 (SR): Played in all 12 games, making seven starts… Finished the season with 27 tackles (8-solo, 19-assist), which included 2.0 tackles for loss… Had a career-high four tackles against both Fresno State (10/22) and New Mexico (11/12)… Also had 1.0 tackles for loss against the Lobos and Boise State (10/1)… Registered three stops at USC (9/10), three tackles against Air Force (9/24) and three stops at Colorado State (10/8)… Recorded at least one tackle in 11 of the 12 games he played in and had multiple tackles in nine games... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors and was named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society.

2015 (RS-JR): Played in 12 games and finished the season with 11 tackles (7-solo, 4-assist) and one quarterback hurry... Had a season-high three stops at Utah (9/11), and posted two tackles against both Southern Utah (9/3) and at San Diego State (10/23)... Had one tackle and one quarterback hurry against Wyoming (10/30)... Earned academic all-Mountain West honors.

2014 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Earned California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) first-team all-state, first-team all-Region IV and first-team all-Central Conference honors in the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) as a sophomore at Riverside (Calif.) City College as he recorded 27 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss, to go along with two fumble recoveries and one quarterback hurry... Helped Riverside CC to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the SCFA Championship game as he had a career game against Fullerton CC with 10 tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Played his freshman season at Sacramento State and posted eight total tackles, including one tackle for loss, to go along with one quarterback hurry... Had a season-high two tackles at Colorado and at Cal Poly... Played in 11 games.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) all-Southern Section Inland Division honors at defensive end as a prep senior at Redlands (Calif.) East Valley High School… Also named first-team all-Citrus Belt League… Recorded 49 tackles and had at least two stops in all 12 games, including a season-high eight tackles against San Gorgonio HS... Also played volleyball and rugby in high school and earned all-league honors in volleyball as a senior.

PERSONAL:One of three children of Travis and Emma Faimalo... Last name is pronounced Fie-mah-low… Graduated from Utah State in the fall of 2016 with an interdisciplinary studies degree emphasizing in health and wellness..
