2016 (SR): Played in 11 games and finished the season with 14 tackles (7-solo, 7-assist), which included 1.0 sacks and 2.0 tackles for loss, while adding one pass breakup… Also returned eight kickoffs for 205 yards (25.7 ypr) and had one punt return for one yard… Recorded a career-high five tackles, including 0.5 tackles for loss, in back-to-back games against New Mexico (11/12) and at Nevada (11/19)… Also had his first career pass breakup against the Lobos… Recorded his first career sack at Wyoming (11/5)… Also had tackles against Weber State (9/1), USC (9/10) and BYU (11/26)… Returned two kickoffs in each of his final four games of the season… Had two kickoff returns for a career-high 74 yards, including a career-long of 38 yards, at Wyoming… Also had two kickoff returns for 50 yards against New Mexico, two kickoff returns for 37 yards at Nevada, and two kickoff returns for 44 yards at BYU.

2015 (JR): Played in five games and recorded a solo tackle against Southern Utah (9/3).

2014 (SO): Played in 11 games and recorded solo tackles in back-to-back games at Wyoming (11/7) and against New Mexico (11/15).

2013 (RS-FR): Played in nine games during the season and recovered a fumble against Wyoming (11/30).

2012 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played cornerback, quarterback and wide receiver at Bradley Tech (Wis.) High School... Earned second-team all-conference honors as a prep senior as he registered 75 tackles with one interception... Also posted 109 receptions for 666 yards (6.1 ypc) with 12 touchdowns, while completing 33-of-90 passes for 599 yards with five touchdowns... Helped the Trojans to the city championship during his junior season... Also a four-year letterwinner in track & field. 

PERSONAL: Son of Marcus Ellison and Frenice Johnson... Has one sister... First name is pronounced Mar-kwon... Graduated from Utah State in the fall of 2016 with a sociology degree..
