HONORS: First-Team All-Mountain West (2014); Phil Steele First-Team All-Mountain West (2014); College Sports Madness First-Team All-Mountain West (2014); College Football Performance Awards Honorable Mention National Defensive Back of the Week (11/1/14).

RECORDS: The only Utah State football player in school history to play in four bowl games... Intercepted seven passes during his senior year, which ranks tied for the second-most in Mountain West single-season history and tied for the third-most in USU single-season history, and the most by an Aggie since 1991... Finished his career with 157 interception return yards to rank fifth all-time in school history.

2014 (SR): Started 12 games and earned first-team all-Mountain West honors along with being named to the all-Mountain West first-team by both Phil Steele and College Sports Madness... Finished the season ranking third on the team in total tackles with 87 (49-solo, 38-assist)... Also ranked first on the team in interceptions (7) and tied for first in quarterback hurries (6), while adding 4.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and one forced fumble... His seven interceptions ranked tied for the second most in Mountain West single-season history and tied for the third-most in USU single-season history... Finished the year ranked tied for second in the Mountain West and tied for seventh nationally in interceptions (0.50 pg), and was 26th in the conference in tackles (6.2 pg)... Named an honorable mention National Defensive Back of the Week by College Football Performance Awards following USU's 35-14 win at Hawai'i (11/1) as he intercepted a career-high two passes that he returned 47 yards, while adding four tackles... Recorded interceptions in four-straight games against Wake Forest (9/13), Arkansas State (9/20), BYU (10/3) and Air Force (10/11)... Other interception during the season was against New Mexico (11/15)... Had a career-high 15 tackles at Boise State (11/29) for his first-career double-digit tackle outing... Had a career-high 1.5 tackles for loss against both UNLV (10/25) and Wyoming (11/7), while posting a career-high one sack against AFA, UW, BSU and UTEP (12/20) in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

2013 (JR): Played in all 14 games and started the season-finale against No. 24 Northern Illinois in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl... Finished the year with 29 total tackles (10-solo, 19-assist)... Also recorded his first career interception against Hawai'i (11/2) that he returned 61 yards... Had a career-high eight tackles against Weber State (9/14) and posted seven stops against NIU in the bowl game... Also had five tackles against BYU (10/4) and three tackles against UH.

2012 (SO): Played in all 13 games and made his first career start against Southern Utah (8/30)... Finished the year with 17 tackles (5-solo, 12-assist)... Recorded his first career sack at Colorado State (9/22) and had his second career pass breakup at Wisconsin (9/15)... Had a season-high five tackles against UNLV (9/29) and against New Mexico State (10/20)... Also had two tackles at CSU and at UTSA (10/27).

2011 (RS-FR): Played in 10 games, mostly on special teams... Logged six stops (6-assist) on the season, including two against Wyoming (10/8) and two at Idaho (11/19).

2010 (RS): Redshirted during his first season at Utah State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned Utah Class 3A first-team all-state honors at safety by both the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune as a prep senior at Juan Diego (Utah) High School, helping the Soaring Eagle to a 13-1 record and the 3A title for the second-straight season... Was a two-time all-region honoree... Also earned second-team all-state honors as a junior... Posted 112 tackles with five interceptions and forcing two fumbles as a senior... Also had one kick return for a touchdown... Finished career with 177 tackles, 12 interceptions, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two defensive touchdowns and one kick return for a score... Earned second-team all-state honors in baseball, helping Juan Diego to state titles in junior and senior seasons... Had a .460 batting average his senior season.

PERSONAL: Son of Frankie and Tammie Sutera... Has two brothers... Older brother, Casey, was a defensive lineman at Utah from 2005-07... Graduated from USU in the spring of 2014 with a degree in human movement science, emphasis in exercise science... Last name is pronounced Suh-tear-uh.
