Appeared in 11 games with six starts … finished the year with 20 receptions for 202 yards (10.1. ypr) and four touchdowns … had three tackles during the season and returned one kickoff for three yards against UNLV (10/11) … recorded a career high seven receptions for 62 yards and a career best two touchdowns on a pair of 2-yard catches against Hawai’i (11/16) … had four catches for 26 yards and one touchdown at Wyoming (10/26) … caught three passes for 43 yards at No. 21 Boise State (10/5) … had two receptions for 24 yards and one touchdown against San Diego State (11/23) … earned Academic All-Mountain West honors and was a MW Scholar-Athlete. 

2023 (REDSHIRT)
Played in the final five games of the season, including starting against Georgia State (12/23) in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl … missed the first eight games due to injury … had two catches for 11 yards on the season as he had a 6-yard reception at San Diego State (11/4) and a 5-yard reception against GSU … returned a kickoff for six yards at New Mexico (11/24) … had two tackles during the year … earned Academic All-Mountain West honors.

2022 (SOPHOMORE SEASON) 
Started 11 of the 12 games he played in and finished the season with 11 receptions for 129 yards (11.7 ypr) and one touchdown … caught his first career touchdown on a career-long 68-yard reception at Hawai’i (11/12) … tied his career-high with three receptions for 14 yards against San José State (11/19) … had two receptions for 12 yards against Memphis (12/27) in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.

2021 (FRESHMAN SEASON) 
Played in 13 games and finished the season with four receptions for 21 yards (5.3 ypr) … had a career-high three receptions for a season-high 21 yards, including a season-long 18-yard catch at Air Force (9/18) … had one reception at Washington State (9/4) ... earned Academic All-Mountain West honors.

2020 (COVID SEASON) 
Appeared in two games and made his first-career start against Air Force (12/3) … did not record any stats … earned Academic All-Mountain West honors.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Earned Utah Class 5A honorable mention All-State honors from the Deseret News at linebacker as a prep senior at Taylorsville High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, as he recorded 72 tackles (63-solo), which included 11.0 sacks and 22.0 tackles for loss, to go along with five quarterback hurries and one forced fumble ... named the Outstanding Linebacker in Region 3 as a senior ... posted a career-high 13 tackles, which included a career-best 7.0 tackles for loss, against Brighton HS ... recorded two-or-more sacks in four games, including a career-high 3.0 sacks against Ogden HS ... offensively, he caught 19 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns as a tight end, and added 11 rushes for 68 yards ... had three receptions for a career-high 129 yards, including a career-long 80-yard touchdown, against Timpview HS ... had a career-high five receptions for 96 yards and a career-best two touchdowns against Jordan HS ... earned honorable mention All-Region honors as a junior as he recorded 60 tackles (32-solo), which included 4.0 sacks and 12.0 tackles for loss, to go along with five quarterback hurries, two blocked field goals and one pass breakup ... had a season-high nine tackles, including 2.0 sacks and 5.0 tackles for loss, against Cottonwood HS ... had a career-high four quarterback hurries against Murray HS ... played basketball and club volleyball at Taylorsville HS.

PERSONAL 
Son of Jim and Richelle Sterzer ... has six brothers and sisters ... served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Queretaro, Mexico ... earned his bachelor's degree in international business from USU in the spring of 2024 and is pursuing his master's in business administration ... married Sarah Paulson in April of 2020, and the couple has a daughter, Ruby, who was born in September, 2022 .... last name is pronounced Stur-zer.
