2022 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Started all 13 games at right guard… Played in 621 snaps and graded out at 83 percent… Finished the season with 14 knockdowns and did not allow a single sack all season… Played a season-high 70 snaps at No. 19 BYU (9/29)… Had a career-high three knockdowns in three separate games against UConn (8/27), BYU and Air Force (10/8)… Graded out at a season-best 87 percent against UNLV (9/24) as he played 51 snaps.

Consensus three-star prospect according to 247Sports.com, Rivals.com and ESPN.com… Rated the 18th-best overall recruit in the state of Utah and the 53rd-best offensive lineman in the nation by 247Sports.com... Earned first-team all-region honors as a prep senior as he helped Bingham High School (South Jordan, Utah) post a 9-3 record and an appearance in
the quarterfinals of the 2021 6A state playoffs, losing to eventual champion Lone Peak 21-14… Helped pave the way for the Miners to rush for 2,249 yards... Earned honorable mention all-state honors following his junior season in 2020 as he helped anchor a strong offensive line as the Miners rushed for 2,647 yards – 220.6 yards an outing – and 25 touchdowns… Bingham HS averaged 5.4 yards per carry and went 8-4, losing to eventual state champion Corner Canyon HS in the quarterfinals of the 6A state playoffs.

Youngest of four children of Sam and Kelly Lapuaho... His cousin, Al Lapuaho, was an all-conference defensive lineman at USU (2011-12) and a former assistant coach (2021)... Last name is pronounced Lah-poo-ah-ho.
