2018 (Sr.): Earned all-Mountain West honors in singles and doubles play... Became the winningest player in USU history with 152 combined singles and doubles wins, 89 total singles wins, 59 dual match singles victories, 49 dual match doubles wins and 30 fall tournament singles victories... Recorded an overall 25-11 singles record, including 15-7 in dual match play at the Nos. 1 and 2 spots... Finished the season as the ITA’s No. 4-ranked player in the Mountain Region… Ended the season with a career-high nine match winning streak... Went undefeated in conference play at the No. 1 spot (6-0)... Recorded four victories over nationally-ranked opponents in BYU's No. 116 Sean Hill (2/16/18), No. 26 Old Dominion's No. 83 Aziz Kijametovic (6-3, 6-4), and UNLV's Alexandr Cozbinov twice, once when ranked No. 83 during the regular season and again when ranked No. 96 during the Mountain West semifinals (3/24/18 and 4/27/18)... Provided the match-clinching point against UCF (1/27/18) and against UNLV (3/24/18)... Posted a 21-12 doubles record, including 13-10 in dual match play at the No. 1 spot... Competed with freshman Jose Carvajal (15-8), and fellow senior Andrew Nakajima (6-4)... Defeated Old Dominion's No. 43 ranked pair of Aziz Kijametovic and Adam Moundir with Nakajima (3/9/18).... Finished the season with Carvajal as the ITA’s No. 9-ranked tandem in the Mountain Region… Earned Mountain West Player of the Week and USU Student Athlete of the Week honors on Feb. 21 after posting a perfect 6-0 mark in singles and doubles against BYU, UC Irvine and Montana State... Named USU Student Athlete of the Week three other times on April 9 after winning both his singles matches at the No. 1 spot against Nevada and Fresno State, on April 16 after winning both singles matches at the No. 1 spot against New Mexico and Air Force, and on April 30 after posting a 5-1 combined singles and doubles mark, including 3-0 at No. 1 singles during the Mountain West Tournament.  

2017 (Jr.): Became the first Aggie ever to be nationally ranked as a singles player when he came in at No. 123 in the ITA preseason poll… Posted a 15-16 overall singles record, including a 13-10 mark in dual matches playing in the top three spots in the lineup… Had a season-high eight-match winning streak during dual-match play from February 10 through March 19… Provided the clinching point in four dual matches during the season, claiming wins against Boise State (4/22/17), Nevada (4/15/17) Pacific (3/17/17) and Marquette (2/11/17)… Recorded a 16-13 overall doubles mark, including a 14-11 record in dual matches and a 4-2 ledger against Mountain West foes… Competed with junior Kai Wehnelt (2-1), freshman Sergiu Bucur (2-4) and junior Andrew Nakajima (12-7)… Posted a season-high five-match winning streak during dual matches from March 3 through March 25… Earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors twice, once on March 8 after posting a 3-0 mark in singles and doubles vs. BYU (3/3/17) and vs. No. 45 Cal Poly (3/7/17), then again on March 22 after going 4-0 in singles and doubles vs. Pacific (3/17/17) and vs. Idaho (3/19/17)… Ended the year ranked as the No. 12 singles player in the Mountain Region.

2016 (So.): Named the Mountain West Player of the Year and an all-Mountain West honoree in singles after posting a 24-9 overall record, including a 15-7 mark in dual matches and a perfect 5-0 record against Mountain West opponents while playing exclusively at the No. 1 spot… Led the team with 24 singles wins… Finished the season as the ITA’s No. 7-ranked player in the Mountain Region… Became the first Aggie ever to reach the quarterfinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Tournament and placed second at the Boise State-Hosted Dar Walters Fall Classic… Recorded wins against three regionally-ranked opponents in BYU’s Shane Monroe (13), New Mexico’s Hayden Sabatka (10) and UNLV’s Jakob Amilon (5) during the fall... Won a season-high four-consecutive matches three separate times during the dual match season… Posted the match-clinching point against Boise State (3/19/16) for USU’s first win against the Broncos in program history… Recorded a 17-8 overall doubles record, including a 14-6 mark in dual matches… Partnered with junior Jack Swindells (2-1), junior Daniel Echeverry (2-2), freshman Samuel Serrano (7-3) and sophomore Andrew Nakajima (6-2)... Posted a season-high six-match winning streak in doubles with Serrano between Jan. 24 and Feb. 20… Earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors three times during the season, including on Feb. 3 after posting a 4-0 record in singles and doubles against Grand Canyon and Idaho State, on March 9 after posting a 4-0 record in singles and doubles during road wins at No. 56 Pacific and Saint Mary’s, and on Mar. 23 after earning a 4-0 record in singles and doubles against Boise State and Loyola Marymount.

2015 (Fr.): Set a school record with 25 overall singles wins as he posted a 25-10 record, including a 16-8 record in dual matches playing mostly at the No. 5 spot… Won the singles consolation draw at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Tournament… Won a season-high five-consecutive singles matches between Feb. 6 and Feb. 22… Recorded a win against regionally-ranked Francis Sargeant (No. 6) of BYU… Posted the match-clinching points at Fresno State (3/10/15), vs. Northern Colorado (2/13/15), vs. No. 70 San Diego State (1/25/15) and vs. Weber State (1/24/15)... Recorded a 9-11 overall doubles record, including an 8-8 record in dual matches… Partnered in doubles with freshman Andrew Nakajima (1-0), sophomore Sebastian Schneider (1-2), sophomore Karan Salwan (3-4) and sophomore Jack Swindells (4-4)… Posted a season-high three match winning streak in doubles between March 29 and April 5… Earned Mountain West Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honors on Jan. 28 after posting a 4-1 record in singles and doubles against Weber State, Colorado Mesa and No. 70 San Diego State, helping lead USU to a 3-0 record.

High School: Played the No. 1 singles spot at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Calif... As a senior, went undefeated in singles during the regular season... Won city individuals in 2012.

Personal: Youngest son of Jaime and Lourdes Barajas... Has two older sisters... Graduated from USU in the spring of 2018 with a degree in health general studies... Name is pronounced HIGH-may Buh-RAH-hoss.
