2017 (Jr.): Became the first Aggie ever to be nationally ranked as a singles player when he came in at No. 123 in the ITA preseason poll… Posted a 15-16 overall singles record, including a 13-10 mark in dual matches playing in the top three spots in the lineup… Had a season-high eight-match winning streak during dual-match play from February 10 through March 19… Provided the clinching point in four dual matches during the season, claiming wins against Boise State (4/22/17), Nevada (4/15/17) Pacific (3/17/17) and Marquette (2/11/17)… Recorded a 16-13 overall doubles mark, including a 14-11 record in dual matches and a 4-2 ledger against Mountain West foes… Competed with junior Kai Wehnelt (2-1), freshman Sergiu Bucur (2-4) and junior Andrew Nakajima (12-7)… Posted a season-high five-match winning streak during dual matches from March 3 through March 25… Earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors twice, once on March 8 after posting a 3-0 mark in singles and doubles vs. BYU (3/3/17) and vs. No. 45 Cal Poly (3/7/17), then again on March 22 after going 4-0 in singles and doubles vs. Pacific (3/17/17) and vs. Idaho (3/19/17)… Ended the year ranked as the No. 12 singles player in the Mountain Region.
2016 (So.): Named the Mountain West Player of the Year and an all-Mountain West honoree in singles after posting a 24-9 overall record, including a 15-7 mark in dual matches and a perfect 5-0 record against Mountain West opponents while playing exclusively at the No. 1 spot… Led the team with 24 singles wins… Finished the season as the ITA’s No. 7-ranked player in the Mountain Region… Became the first Aggie ever to reach the quarterfinals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Tournament and placed second at the Boise State-Hosted Dar Walters Fall Classic… Recorded wins against three regionally-ranked opponents in BYU’s Shane Monroe (13), New Mexico’s Hayden Sabatka (10) and UNLV’s Jakob Amilon (5) during the fall... 2015 (Fr.): Set a school record with 25 overall singles wins as he posted a 25-10 record, including a 16-8 record in dual matches playing mostly at the No. 5 spot… Won the singles consolation draw at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Mountain Region Tournament… Won a season-high five-consecutive singles matches between Feb. 6 and Feb. 22… Recorded a win against regionally-ranked Francis Sargeant (No. 6) of BYU… Posted the match-clinching points at Fresno State (3/10/15), vs. Northern Colorado (2/13/15), vs. No. 70 San Diego State (1/25/15) and vs. Weber State (1/24/15)...
