2017 (So.): Saw action in one dual match, playing in a doubles match that was left unfinished with his tandem leading 5-4… Competed in doubles with junior Andrew Nakajima (1-3) and senior Daniel Echeverry (2-2)… Was a Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete award recipient… Recorded an 0-9 singles record in the fall… Posted a 3-5 doubles record in the fall.

2016 (Fr.): Joined the team in the spring and did not compete during his first season at USU... Was a USU Joe E. and Emma Whitesides Scholar-Athlete award recipient.

High School: Played No. 1 singles for four years at Decatur High School in Avondale Estates, Ga., where he compiled a 14-1 mark as a senior... Led his team to the state quarterfinals twice as a freshman and senior... Graduated with a 3.6 GPA and as a four-year honor roll member.

Personal: Only son of Richard and Catherine Bass... Majoring in economics.
